Introduction to HSK1
HSK1 examines the students' capability of using Chinese in daily life. Those who pass HSK1 can understand and use some simple Chinese words and
sentences to facilitate their communication and be equipped with the ability to pursue further Chinese studies.
The test takers of HSK1 should master at least 150 commonly used words and related knowledge of grammar.
TEST CONTENT AND TIME
The written test of HSK (Level 1) includes two parts: listening and reading. There are 40 questions altogether, including:
I. Listening (20 questions, around 15 minutes)
II Reading (20 questions, 17 minutes)
There are 5 minutes for the test takers to fill in their personal information. After the listening test, there are 3 minutes for the test takers to complete the answer
sheet. The total test time is around 40 minutes.
Part 1 (5 Questions) Listen to the recording and judge whether the word or phrase you hear in consistence with the picture.
Part 2 (5 Questions) Listen to the recording and choose the picture which is in consistence with the sentence you hear.
Part 3 (5 Questions) Listen to the dialogue and choose the corresponding picture.
Part (5 Questions) Listen to the sentence and the question, and choose the right answer.
Tin reading test of HSK (Level I) includes four parts with five questions in each of them. Details of the questions are as follows:
Part 1 (5 Questions) Judge whether the picture is in consistence with the word.
Part 2 (5 Questions) Choose the corresponding picture according to the sentence.
Pan. 3 (5 Questions) Find the corresponding answers to the questions
Part 4 (5 Questions) Choose the proper words to fill in the blanks
All the questions in the test are marked with pinyin.
According to the new HSK (Level 1)，the full marks of the listening part are 100 points, so are the full marks of the reading part. The test has 200 points altogether
and 120 points and more will be regarded as qualified. The test score will be effective for a long time. However, as a certificate of Chinese language proficiency of
foreign students who are going to study in Chinese colleges and universities, the period of validity is two years (starling from the test date).
